A laptop build for the core propose of gaming without hurting your pocket that’s how Toshiba markets its new Qosmio X870. The New Qosmio X870 will come with the latest Intel processor and a 3GB GPU manufactured by Nvidia. The Lappy is 17.3-inch 3D display with full HD feature, it is said that its screen has insanely fast response time of 5ms, this just means real time gaming experience.
Toshiba will offer the Qosmio X870 either Blu-ray or DVD drive along with a virtual 3D stereo speaker provided by Harmon Kardon. It has also a version 3 USB port, 4 slots actually, supports HDMI and Bluetooth 4.0. The keyboard is backlited by red instead of the usual green color.
The Qosmio X870 is expected sometimes in April or May of this year, likewise no pricie confirmation by the maker. List of notable parts and specification can be seen below.

Last year many have predicted that Ultrabook will replace Netbook this year, and I myself believe this will happened and with what we are seeing on CES2012 tradeshow, Ultrabook definitely sweeping the floors here and there. In the coming days as the tradeshow progresses players competing for the best Ultrabook will be showing off their devices.
Today, Dell as one of the key player under ultrabook category just outed its first Ultrabook XPS 13. XPS 13 will definitely be having a 13-inch viewable size that is equipped with Gorilla Glass display and betting on a 1366 X 768 pixel resolution. The XPS 13 will be powered by Intel Core i5 processor backed up with 4GB of RAM and an Intel HD 3000 graphics chipset. Data’s will be housed on a 128GB of Solid State Drive (SSD). The Ultrabook will be using Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, a minidisplay port and a USB 3.0 technology. Battery life is expected to keep the device running for 8 hours.
