It seems that tablet inspired design for Ultrabook and laptop are popping here and there, take for instance this Toshiba Protégé M930, the screen slide down covering its keyboard and assuming a tablet form, we have also the Lenovo IdeaPad YOGA as it was discussed here at Techkinote last week, screen Flip 360 degree and transform itself to tablet.

Last year many have predicted that Ultrabook will replace Netbook this year, and I myself believe this will happened and with what we are seeing on CES2012 tradeshow, Ultrabook definitely sweeping the floors here and there. In the coming days as the tradeshow progresses players competing for the best Ultrabook will be showing off their devices.

Today, Dell as one of the key player under ultrabook category just outed its first Ultrabook XPS 13. XPS 13 will definitely be having a 13-inch viewable size that is equipped with Gorilla Glass display and betting on a 1366 X 768 pixel resolution. The XPS 13 will be powered by Intel Core i5 processor backed up with 4GB of RAM and an Intel HD 3000 graphics chipset. Data’s will be housed on a 128GB of Solid State Drive (SSD). The Ultrabook will be using Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, a minidisplay port and a USB 3.0 technology. Battery life is expected to keep the device running for 8 hours.
